Key Qualifications:
Valid, active RN license Previous experience working in pediatrics or school nursing strongly preferred Confident in emergency response, medication administration, and care planning for students Able to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students Comfortable adapting to a variety of school environments and quickly building rapport
Your Core Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care tailored to school-aged children, from elementary through high school Respond to injuries and acute health incidents, managing emergencies with professionalism Administer daily medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate student health records and documentation Offer health education and guidance to students, staff, and families Support students with chronic health issues or special needs, ensuring a safe learning environment Assignments begin as soon as possible and follow the school calendar; positions are filled on a per diem basis, giving you ultimate control over your work-life balance. Payment for each shift is shift specific.
