Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state eligibility) Proven skills in the school setting; experience as a school nurse and knowledge of pediatric care strongly preferred Comfort supporting a kindergarten student, including adapting to evolving needs (more details being gathered) CPR/BLS certification (current) Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 clinical nursing support for a 5-year-old male kindergarten student in a general education resource classroom Work part-time, 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Fridays), throughout the full school year Coordinate care seamlessly with a dedicated paraeducator and educational team Remain flexible as the students clinical needs and equipment requirements (e.g., wheelchair use, diagnosis status) develop Maintain accurate documentation of all care and interventions
