Pay Rate:

$40-$45/HR depending on experience We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to support students within a school setting. The School RN will provide direct nursing care, manage student health needs, and collaborate with families and school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

Current IL State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR/AED certification preferred Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health nursing experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency medical support to students. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies. Monitor and support students with chronic conditions, disabilities, and other medical needs. Develop and follow individualized healthcare and emergency care plans as appropriate. Maintain accurate and confidential student health records and documentation. Assist with health screenings, immunization compliance, and required health documentation. Communicate with families, school staff, healthcare providers, and administrators regarding student health needs. Respond to medical emergencies and follow established emergency protocols. Promote student wellness, health education, and disease prevention within the school community.
