2-4 years Position Overview Viltis is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse II to support our client's onsite occupational health program in Avon, Indiana . This is a part-time, onsite position working three days per week . The Occupational Health Nurse will provide direct occupational health services to employees while managing workplace injury and illness cases, workers' compensation activities, medical surveillance programs, and employee health and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with prior occupational, employee health, industrial, or workplace health experience and a strong understanding of injury case management and return-to-work programs. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite occupational health services, including assessment, treatment, and first-aid response for workplace injuries and illnesses. Manage employee injury and illness cases from initial assessment through follow-up and resolution. Coordinate and manage workers' compensation cases and related documentation. Support medical surveillance programs, protocols, screenings, and required health logs. Work to reduce workers' compensation costs through effective case management, return-to-work programs, and injury-prevention initiatives . Maintain and manage onsite medical supplies and occupational health resources. Coordinate corporate occupational health and safety programs at the site level. Conduct applicable employee health and safety training. Participate in site teams and Emergency Response activities. Partner closely with Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Human Resources. Collaborate with employees, managers, and supervisors regarding occupational health concerns and workplace accommodations. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health documentation. Promote programs and practices focused on employee health, workplace safety, and injury prevention. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. 2-4 years of relevant nursing experience. Experience providing clinical assessment, first aid, and employee health support. Strong communication, documentation, and case-management skills. Ability to work effectively with employees, management, HR, and EH&S teams. Ability to work onsite in Avon, IN for the required part-time schedule. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly preferred: Occupational Health / Occupational Nursing Employee Health Workers' Compensation Case Management Return-to-Work Programs Workplace Injury and Illness Management Medical Surveillance Emergency Response / First Aid Manufacturing, medical device, industrial, or similar workplace environments Schedule Part-Time
