Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing Prior experience as a School RN or in a school nursing setting preferred Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents Ability to handle common school health issues, first aid, medication administration, and student health plans Team player who collaborates well with educational staff and administration

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing services, including first aid and emergency care, within the school Oversee medication management and daily health needs for students Develop Individualized Health Care Plans as needed for chronic or complex conditions Maintain accurate health records and communicate student health needs with appropriate staff Support a safe school environment through health education and infectious disease management
