Make a Difference The Nurse Educator works closely with the Education Specialist, the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Department's Nursing Manager/Director to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate the educational needs of nursing staff at the unit/department level to enable staff to provide quality care for the unique patient population on that unit/department. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing or in lieu of accredited schools listed above, three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (Required)
- Certification within specialty area within two years from hire.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in nursing and at least on (1) year of experience in the specialty area. (Required)
