Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Coordinator Marion, IN Full-Time | Days $40.00-$52.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Staffing Strategies is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Marion, Indiana to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Coordinator for a full-time, day shift opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about wound care and enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Position Summary The Wound Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the clinical activities of an outpatient wound care program while providing direct patient care and serving as a clinical resource for wound management throughout the organization. This role works closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff education. Responsibilities Coordinate daily clinical operations of the wound care clinic. Perform comprehensive wound assessments and assist with treatment planning. Provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based wound care practices. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams. Conduct chart audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Assist with staff education, orientation, and ongoing wound care training. Monitor quality metrics and assist with program development. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulatory standards. Support inpatient wound care initiatives as needed. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record. QualificationsRequired Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN) Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience Some wound care experience during your nursing career Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Preferred WOCN (Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse) Certification Previous wound clinic or wound care program experience Experience with quality improvement, education, or leadership responsibilities Ideal Candidate We're looking for an RN who is: Passionate about wound care and patient outcomes Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable educating staff and patients A strong communicator and collaborative team member Able to balance direct patient care with program coordination responsibilities Compensation & Benefits $40.00-$52.00 per hour (based on experience) Full-time, day shift schedule Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off Retirement benefits Continuing education opportunities Opportunity to grow within an established wound care program Why Apply Through Staffing Strategies?
