Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Coordinator Marion, IN Full-Time | Days $40.00-$52.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Staffing Strategies is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Marion, Indiana to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Coordinator for a full-time, day shift opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about wound care and enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Position Summary The Wound Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the clinical activities of an outpatient wound care program while providing direct patient care and serving as a clinical resource for wound management throughout the organization. This role works closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff education. Responsibilities Coordinate daily clinical operations of the wound care clinic. Perform comprehensive wound assessments and assist with treatment planning. Provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based wound care practices. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams. Conduct chart audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Assist with staff education, orientation, and ongoing wound care training. Monitor quality metrics and assist with program development. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulatory standards. Support inpatient wound care initiatives as needed. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
