Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in family-centered care for mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.Responsibilities:
Assess maternal and neonatal health, administer medications, support breastfeeding, perform newborn assessments, educate families on postpartum and infant care, respond to emergencies, collaborate with healthcare teams, and maintain accurate documentation.Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of one year recent postpartum RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS and NRP certifications; preferred ACLS certification. Must demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to handle equipment and move patients, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.Key Duties:
Explain care procedures, monitor health status, assist with procedures, educate parents, ensure safety and comfort, and perform assigned tasks within scope of practice.Benefits:
