The Cardiac Renal Unit at Deaconess Gateway is a 32-bed specialty unit caring for a diverse patient population, including cardiac, renal, and medical-surgical patients. As home to Gateway's dialysis suite, this unit offers unique learning opportunities you won't find on many inpatient floors. Nurses receive specialty training on dialysis catheters, earn ACLS certification, and are encouraged to pursue advanced certifications and continuing education. With a wide variety of diagnoses and a passion for teaching, this is an ideal environment for both new and experienced nurses looking to expand their skills.
