Job Description
Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator RN to lead clinical education and training in our long-term and post-acute care community. This on-site role designs, delivers, and evaluates orientation, in-services, and competency programs for nursing and interdisciplinary teams. The RN will assess learning needs, support regulatory and survey readiness, and champion person-centered, faith-based care. Working collaboratively with leaders and frontline staff, the coordinator promotes quality outcomes, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement while mentoring team members in best practices and resident-centered service. Responsibilities Assess staff learning needs and develop annual education plans for nursing and interdisciplinary teams. Coordinate and deliver orientation, in-services, and skills labs for clinical and support staff. Validate and document clinical competencies to support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement, survey readiness, and corrective action plans. Maintain training records, education schedules, and compliance with state, federal, and company standards. Coach and mentor staff to promote best practices in person-centered long-term and post-acute care.
