SCHEDULE
108 days; Part-time; 7.5 hrs. / day; 3 days / week This position will remain posted until filled. All qualified and interested applicants are encouraged to apply.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses clinical knowledge and judgment to provide health care services to students and staff Serves as a liaison between school personnel, family, community, and healthcare providers to advocate for healthcare and a healthy school environment Administers prescribed medications Establishes and maintains current medical records on students including state mandated health screenings and immunizations Develops and maintains healthcare plans, emergency care plans, and necessary protocols to ensure student safety
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Required:
Current Indiana Registered Nurse license in good standing Displays excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Experience working in a school environment preferred Previous nursing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
Displays positive and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work as a team with other staff Displays dependability and punctuality Displays strong attention to detail and confidentiality Possesses strong ethical background
WORKING CONDITIONS
