Job Description
Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator RN to lead clinical education and training for our long-term care and rehabilitation team. In this on-site role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate orientation, in-service programs, and ongoing competency training for nurses and caregivers. You will assess learning needs, support regulatory and infection control requirements, and champion resident-centered, faith-based care. Collaborating closely with nursing leadership, you will help drive quality improvement, professional growth, and a culture of compassion, dignity, and teamwork. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and deliver clinical education and in-service training for nursing and care staff. Assess staff competencies and learning needs; develop individualized and unit-based development plans. Lead new hire orientation and onboarding for clinical team members. Ensure staff education supports regulatory, safety, and infection control requirements. Maintain accurate training records and competency documentation. Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality improvement and clinical best practices. Coach and mentor staff to strengthen resident-centered care and clinical skills. Support survey preparedness through targeted education and follow-up training. Integrate organizational mission, values, and person-centered care principles into all training. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support consistent standards of care.
