Overview Atchison Senior Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations. Duties Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting changes in medical records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Perform routine medical procedures while ensuring a safe environment for patients. Assist in the management of medical documentation and ensure accuracy in all records. Skills Proficient in medical records management and documentation practices. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy. Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care. Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate clearly with healthcare teams. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion. Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation while adhering to established protocols. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of nursing duties.
