Contract RN - Intensive Care / Med-Surg (Nights)

Location:

Chanute, KS Term:

13-Week Contract (With potential for block scheduling)

Shift:

Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | 36 hours/week

Start Date:

ASAP (Fast-tracked onboarding)

Compensation & Pay Breakdown Weekly Pay:

Up to $2,500 weekly starting based on a 36-hour schedule guarantee. Role Overview & Unit Specifics We are seeking an experienced, adaptable ICU Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will primarily support our Intensive Care Unit, with the flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical units to meet facility needs.

Patient Ratios:

2:1 up to 3:1 (Critical Care)

Schedules:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is potentially available (some schedules are pre-blocked with three shifts in a row).

Weekend Requirement:

Yes, weekend rotation is required.

Floating:

Yes, within scope (ICU nurses may float to Med-Surg). Electronic Medical Records (EMR):

Open / Flexible Key Requirements To be considered for this immediate-start opening, you must meet the following criteria:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of dedicated Critical Care/ICU experience.

Traveler Experience:

No first-time travelers. Previous travel contract experience is required.

Core Skills:

Strong familiarity with ICU drips and sedation protocols. You must be highly confident and comfortable navigating critical care emergencies.

Certifications Required:

Active RN License (Kansas or compact) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

Pay:

From $68.00 per hour
