Night About the Position We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs. Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition. Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, allergies, and current meds and respiration. Provides routine care for patients. Observes patients' health. Reviews medical charts. Communicate with patients and their families. Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler Prepares specimens for lab. Administers medications. Evaluates and documents intervention and patient response to treatment. Administers enemas douches, perineal care, Foley Cath care, colostomy care, and suppositories. Follows and adheres to isolation techniques and universal exposure control procedures for infection control. Assist patients with mobility, transferring to and from wheelchairs, stretcher, commode, or ambulatory status with or without crutch or walker assistance. Assist physicians in emergency care. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure through the Kansas State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact licensure is required. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first 60 days of employment and must maintain a valid BLS certification throughout your employment. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first year of employment and must maintain a valid ACLS certification throughout your employment. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first year of employment and must maintain a valid PALS certification throughout your employment.
