Shift:

6:00 pm-6:00 am, 3x12-hour nights Start date: 08/17/2026 Work setting: critical access setting with 15 beds; night shift; every other weekend and every other holiday Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for ER and med-surg patients during night shifts Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and documentation Administer medications and IV therapies; assist with procedures; respond to emergencies using standard protocols Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and ancillary staff; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges Maintain accurate electronic health records in Cerner; ensure patient safety and infection control compliance Participate in unit-based protocols and quality improvement activities Requirements Active RN license in Kansas or eligible for multi-state license BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred Minimum 1 year of RN experience in ER and/or Med-Surg Cerner experience preferred Ability to work 6:00 pm-6:00 am, 3x12-hour nights; every other weekend and every other holiday Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to adapt to a rural critical access setting Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay: $1,944-$2,073 per week 13-week assignment with extension opportunities 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing and onboarding Nationwide travel assignments Find more opportunities If this role isn't a fit, explore other openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.
