Job Description

+ Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury.
+ Triage and quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments.
+ Cooperation with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
+ Aid in resuscitative efforts, including CPR and the use of defibrillator's.
+ Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, central line placement).
+ Assist in patient stabilization for conditions like trauma, cardiac arrest, and acute illnesses.
+ Prioritize patient care based on acuity level using triage protocols. Qualifications
+ Current and valid state RN License.
+ Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
+ Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
+ Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
+ Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
+ Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) preferred. +
In Paramedic Base Station ED:
MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.
+ EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
