Key Qualifications:

Active RN license without restrictions Proven experience in the Operating Room setting (RN-OR/circulator and/or scrub experience) BLS certification required (ACLS preferred) Thorough understanding of surgical asepsis and infection prevention protocols Ability to adapt swiftly to evolving situations and operate efficiently in a team-driven environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on nursing care to surgical patients prior to, during, and immediately following procedures Scrub or circulate during surgeries, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient status promptly Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures, troubleshoot issues as needed, and assist in maintaining a safe surgical environment Offer patient and family support, addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism
