Shift Details:

12-hour night shifts 19:00-07:00, three nights per week

What You'll Experience:

Key Qualifications:

Active KS or Compact RN license Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years' recent psychiatric nursing experience (hospital setting preferred) Skilled in behavioral assessments, managing violent or high-risk patients, and determining psych patient disposition in emergency settings Capable of independent practice, especially for complex cases in the ED Not open to new graduates

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct care to two high-risk psychiatric ED patients, including medication administration, de-escalation, and safe use of restraints Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, set disposition plans, and coordinate placements or safety plans Participate in Behavioral Response Team calls throughout the facility to stabilize escalated situations and support bedside staff
