Job Description

About This Role Individual in this position provides nursing care to patients who present for care daily. In order to accomplish the organizational mission of providing superior healthcare services to the students of KSU, adequate professional staffing is mandated. About Us Lafene Health Center provides students with accessible, high quality, and affordable outpatient healthcare, focusing on keeping students healthy and promoting a healthy campus community. Care is provided by board certified physicians and nurse practitioners, as well as nursing professionals. Students receive the same high quality care one would expect from their healthcare providers at home. Students will have access to coordinated and comprehensive services targeted at building and maintaining overall well-being. We believe good health is essential for academic success. Worksite Description This position is On-site . All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho. What You'll Need to
Succeed Minimum Qualifications:
Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Kansas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of professional nursing theory & practices, nursing assessment skills, demonstrate practical application of nursing theory and techniques to specific patient treatment situations, able to follow oral & written instructions in detail, prepare nursing care plans and maintain records, charts and reports. Possess exceptional problem solving and communication skills. Have the ability to deal with confidential matters between patients and/or staff and be able to maintain that confidentiality appropriately. Experience using a personal computer.
