Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional healthcare. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects. Prepare, hang, monitor, and discontinue IVs and other medical equipment. Advocate for patients and support patient and family rights. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
