Join Our Award-Winning Surgical Team! Labette Health is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Circulator RN to join our dynamic Surgical Services department. As a vital member of the operating room team, the Circulator RN ensures patient safety and facilitates efficient surgical procedures by coordinating all perioperative activities during surgery. Day shift with rotating call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure. Monitor patient status and provide assistance during surgery. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning. Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure timely delivery of instruments and supplies. Assist with preparing and setting up the operating room. Document patient care and surgical details in medical records. Monitor patient progress during the surgery and communicate with the team. Assist in managing emergencies or complications during surgery. Provide immediate support in crisis situations.
Education Requirements:
Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid KS state nursing license.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in perioperative or surgical nursing preferred, willing to train new graduates
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
