Come work with our team on our OB Floor!! We are seeking a Full Time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics team. Summary The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units by assessing patient needs, implementing nursing care plans, monitoring maternal and newborn conditions, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care Assess and monitor maternal and newborn conditions and report changes to the physician and care team Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies Provide patient and family education and support throughout the birthing experience Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Respond effectively to obstetric and neonatal emergencies Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory standards Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Kansas or compact license
BLS, NRP, AWHONN
Basic Fetal Monitoring required, STABLE preferred Previous Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Nursery experience preferred At least two years of nursing experience preferred New-to-OB nurses may be considered and will complete on-the-job training Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
