This is a weekday opportunity offering a consistent schedule, one patient, and the ability to provide individualized nursing care in a home setting. Our 1:1 Private Duty RN- M-F Day Shift position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients and families while providing hands-on skilled nursing care. We are looking to fill this position ASAP! As a 1:1 Private Duty RN- M-F Day Shift , you may: Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home Administer and manage medications Provide G-tube care and medication administration Provide catheter care Assist with TPN management as ordered Monitor vital signs and overall patient condition Identify and report changes in condition or concerns Assist with ADLs and mobility needs as appropriate Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation Communicate with the client's family, BrightStar Care clinical team, and licensed providers Follow the client's individualized plan of care Provide care according to Kansas nursing standards, BrightStar Care policies, and Joint Commission standards Specific nursing responsibilities are based on the client's individualized plan of care. RN Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Kansas. Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Negative TB screening within the required timeframe Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality Laptop or tablet available for electronic charting in the client's home Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull as required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds depending on client needs Need BLS certification?
