Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in the emergency room, utilizing strong clinical judgment and rapid assessment skills Triage and prioritize patient needs according to severity and established protocols Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by providers Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure excellent patient care Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with facility, state, and federal requirements Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Adhere to infection control standards and safety procedures in all clinical tasks Respond swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations and code responsesQualifications:
Current, valid RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room/ER role Knowledge of emergency nursing processes, equipment, and nursing best practices BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications (PALS, TNCC, etc.) preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations This role offers the chance to deliver meaningful care while expanding your clinical expertise and working with a collaborative healthcare team.
