Desired Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Stepdown/Progressive Care unit BLS and ACLS certifications (from the American Heart Association) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Adaptability to different acuity levels and patient populations Effective communication and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, evidence-based care to Stepdown patients Closely monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and patient progress Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to formulate and update care plans Respond proactively to changes in patient condition Educate patients and families on post-discharge care Ensure accurate documentation and medication administration
