Job Description

Job Overview Menifee Meadows seeking a dedicated and versatile Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Warrior/Supervisor. We now offer incentivized pay scale options (discussed at interview). The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care facility, ensuring clinical standards, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care according to facility policies and care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per orders and protocols.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to NAs and ancillary staff.
  • Monitor and document resident condition changes; initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinate with physicians, therapists, social services, and families.
  • Participate in care conferences, admission/discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and complete required reports.
  • Ensure infection control, safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Mentor staff and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience in skilled nursing / long-term care preferred but not required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS as applicable/desired.
  • Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, leadership, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Physical/other requirements:
  • Ability to lift/move residents and stand for extended periods.
  • Pass background check, drug screen, and TB/health screening per facility policy.
