Job Description

Redbanks is in search of full-time Clinical Liaison Nurse to join our growing team. Redbanks is a locally managed, community focused, not-for-profit skilled nursing center located in Henderson, Ky.
Job Summary:
Identifies, manages and develops lead sources for Redbanks Skilled Nursing assigned market. Conducts on-site clinical assessments of potential patients and determines appropriateness for admissions. Facilitates all aspects of a smooth transfer/admission process. Works alongside the admissions/marketing coordinator to ensure all admission processes flow smoothly from receipt of referral to admission of patient. Conducts marketing activities as directed by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse (RN preferred)
Experience:
A minimum of three years clinical experience and two years of long-term care experience. Customer service, sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
Essential Functions:
Receives leads from providers, facilities, or any customer source, and converts appropriate leads to drive census. Manages and coordinates leads from key hospitals in the market. In conjunction with facility requirements/abilities, clinically accesses patients to determine if the patient meets admission criteria. Makes contact with potential lead as a representative of Redbanks. Assists with any questions from lead and/or family members. Obtains the necessary medical and financial information to qualify patients for admission. Facilitates patient placement based on clinical services needed, bed availability, patient/family preference, geographic location, etc.
