Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Mental Health Unit Full-Time Position Night Shift (7:00pm - 7:00am)
Job Summary:
You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. You will perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN) You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team. You will teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
