Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Nurse Practitioner, Oncology, you will be responsible for utilizing training and skills to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician. Every day, you will apply your specialized expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage the complex care needs of oncology patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship or palliative care. This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, managing symptoms, and providing crucial education and emotional support to patients and their families, all within a multidisciplinary team. To be successful in your role, you will meticulously provide direct patient care, utilizing your specialized training and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients under physician supervision. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical proficiency and a compassionate approach, ensuring comprehensive care coordination and optimal patient outcomes within your scope of practice."
