1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Mayfield, KY, requiring OB/L&D experience and multiple certifications including NRP and ACLS. Details Work in an 8-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital that is part of the LifePoint Health system Patient population includes OB, nursery, and occasional gynecological surgery and cosmetic procedure patients Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards

EMR:

MediTech Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 13-week contract Every other weekend required Floating required as needed On-call required as needed Requirements Active RN license valid in Kentucky (KY state or compact license) required Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS — all must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to start Minimum 1 year of OB/L&D nursing experience required Charge nurse experience required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Orientation is held weekly on Mondays Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay; those within 60 miles are not eligible for this position Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but charge experience is required
