1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Oncology Infusion position with day shift hours and no experience required. Details Outpatient oncology infusion setting within a 27-chair Cancer Center caring for an average of 50 patients per day Provides oncology, non-oncology, and supportive treatments Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts from 0800-1630 13-week assignment Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required BLS certification required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred ONS Chemotherapy Administration Provider Card preferred Strong computer systems literacy or ability to be trained Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures Additional Information Provides comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, and treatment coordination for oncology and non-oncology patients Facilitates admission, transfer, and discharge processes including patient and family education Collaborates closely with an inter-professional care team and delegates tasks appropriately Promotes a positive, healing environment while maintaining nursing excellence and evidence-based practice standards Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities such as patient satisfaction and safety monitoring First-time travelers are welcome to apply
