Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
8-week contract 48 guaranteed hours per week; 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend/holiday required (exceptions only with approved time off) No blocked scheduling Floating throughout all med/surg and telemetry in-patient units as needed, including aide responsibilities
Qualifications:
Active KY or Compact RN license 1+ year med/surg RN experience, with Level I or II Trauma exposure required Current
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS & NIHSS
certifications (submit with application) Ability to read and interpret tele strips; strong general med/tele skills Experience with Care View or EPIC charting preferred; on-site training available EKG competency test required during compliance COVID vaccination mandatory (declination permitted with weekly testing at own expense) Hardworking, resilient, and adaptable professionals who thrive in a team environment encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate care on busy surgical/ortho units (patient ratio 1:6; unit size 15-45 beds) Float between med/surg and telemetry areas based on unit needs Adapt quickly to fast-paced trauma cases, supporting patients throughout their care journey Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to positive patient outcomes Why choose this assignment?
