Overview Join Our Emergency Department Team Pineville Community Health Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to patients experiencing acute illnesses and injuries. The Emergency Room RN plays a critical role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to emergency department patients of all ages. Perform patient triage and ongoing assessments. Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies according to physician orders. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status. Assist physicians with emergency procedures and diagnostic testing. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care and positive outcomes. Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines. Maintain competency in emergency nursing skills and participate in ongoing education and training. Qualifications Required Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Previous Emergency Department experience.
