1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active KY or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) 0.8 FTE position Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with care team members Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures Additional Information Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for ED patients Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities Deliver patient and family-centered education Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and delegate tasks appropriately Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures Promote a healing environment through evidence-based nursing practices
