1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Antepartum unit position requiring 2 years of labor and delivery experience and a KY or compact RN license. Details Work in a 10-bed Antepartum unit caring for high-risk pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia and preterm labor Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Floating to Labor & Delivery required OB experience preferred Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary care team Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures Computer systems proficiency or ability to be trained Additional Information Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for high-risk antepartum patients Facilitate patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with Case Management Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures monitoring Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members Promote a positive, healing environment through evidence-based nursing practice
