Job Description

Overview Lagniappe Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated nurses to join our healthcare team. We are hiring LPN's & RN's. The nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, patient assessments, clinical documentation, and a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of our patients. Please note the starting rate is for LPN & we do pay shift differential. RN starting rate is $32.00 hour. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Conduct routine assessments and monitor vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed. Participate in the implementation of patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Requirements Valid LPN/RN license in Louisiana or valid multi-state license equivalent. Experience in long term care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital settings is preferred. Proficient in assessment and patient care techniques. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient advocacy. Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
