Job Description

Travel Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Nights) We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an urgent backfill position requiring an immediate start date.

Weeks Shift:
Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours) Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to adult patients presenting with a wide variety of medical-surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring. Monitor, interpret, and record electronic telemetry strips, identifying any arrhythmias or significant changes in cardiac rhythm. Administer medications, manage intravenous (IV) lines, and closely track patient vital signs. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans. Quickly recognize and respond to acute changes in patient status or clinical deterioration.
Requirements Licensure:
Active Louisiana (LA) state nursing license or a valid compact/multistate RN license.
Certifications:
Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
Availability:
Ability to start immediately (ASAP starts only).

From $60.00 per hour
