Full Job Description Role Overview:
A registered nurse providing independent, comprehensive patient care within a clinical setting, demonstrating clinical expertise and managing contingencies effectively.Responsibilities include:
Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients Addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Administering medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side-effects and efficacy Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources Delegating tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situationsQualifications & Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license Required certifications:BLS, ACLS, PALS
Completion of orientation, competency validation, and ongoing annual certificationsAdditional Details:
The role requires participation in onboarding programs, competency assessments, and certification renewals within specified grace periods. The position is full-time, with work hours from 11AM to 11PM.Benefits
