Registered Nurse (RN)

Perform nursing duties as needed to support surgical patient including but not limited to: thorough pre-op patient assessment, patient and family education, initiation of IV, medication administration, OR preparation, physician assistance, and careful post surgical patient assessment to assure return of necessary function prior to discharge Follows and implements physician's orders and performs all required nursing activities. Document according to facility policies Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job Current Louisiana Nursing License required and BLS certification.
