$64/hr (Blended)
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and high-risk OB patients. Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and communicate changes to physicians. Administer and titrate Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, insulin drips, IV fluids, and medications. Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, newborn resuscitation, and postpartum recovery. Provide newborn care, including APGAR scoring, PKU screening, phototherapy, and special care nursery support. OR circulation training is required; unit averages approximately 30-40 births per month. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the required state. Current BLS certification. Labor & Delivery/OB nursing experience, including high-risk OB patients. OR circulation training/experience is required.
