We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for PRN positions. Our service area primarily includes senior communities, assisted living facilities, and rural areas in Houma, LA. Why Work With Us? Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Performing initial assessments and actively participating in the development and maintenance of treatment and care plans. Taking part in weekly on-call rotation. Initiating and updating the physician/practitioner's treatment plan. Developing, implementing, updating, and effectively communicating patient care plans. Conducting re-certification and discharge assessments as appropriate. Implementing current nursing practices during all home health care visits. Assessing patient conditions and needs during each visit. Providing skilled nursing services, including treatments, diagnostics, preventative measures, and rehabilitative procedures based on patient needs. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes that are incorporated into the clinical record. Assisting in the coordination of all home care services. Conducting supervisory visits to evaluate the performance of Agency home health aides in skilled patient care. Utilizing equipment and supplies safely and efficiently. Participating in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who have: A current and unencumbered RN license in Louisiana. CPR/BLS Certification. Proven competence to provide care independently, adhering to nursing practice standards. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
