Job Duties:

Deliver Skilled Nursing Care:

Provide direct, hands-on care to patients with complex medical needs, including administering medications, treatments, IV therapies, blood products, and central line management.

Monitor and Document Patient Status:

Conduct regular patient assessments, make rounds with physicians, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Coordinate Patient Care:

Transcribe and carry out physician orders, assist with exams, admissions, discharges, and transfers, and provide shift change reports to ensure continuity of care.

Support Quality Improvement:

Participate in care planning, patient conferences, utilization reviews, and quality assurance activities to promote best practices and regulatory compliance.

Maintain Clinical Readiness:

Ensure unit supplies and equipment are maintained, uphold RN licensure and education requirements, and perform other duties to support effective nursing operations.

Work Schedule:

12 hours with rotating weekends. The shifts are 5:45 am - 6:15 pm or 5:45 pm - 6:15 am.

Compensation:

The Registered Nurse 1 offers a Special Entrance Rate of $29.84 hourly, along with premium pay of up to $15.00 per hour. This is the minimum compensation that may be offered. The job title and salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
