Overview:
As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting during the night shift. Your expertise will ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional healthcare services. Valid LA or Compact RN license AHA BLS certification (required) AHA ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred) Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg RN experience Ability to work 6p-6a on a rotating schedule Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice toHave Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Prior experience in a hospital setting with diverse patient populations Additional certifications in specialized nursing areasPreferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred At least 1 year of recent Med Surg RN experience in a hospital environmentOther Requirements:
Ability to start as soon as possible Willingness to commit to an initial 13-week contract Must hold a current and active RN license in Louisiana or a Compact state Local and Travel Rates Available Compensation for this role is $55.00 per hour, combined with a per diem rate, offering a competitive pay package.
