Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care across diverse medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical skills in fast-paced environments, from emergency rooms to outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive compassionate, comprehensive care. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will be empowered to utilize your specialized knowledge and deliver exceptional patient-centered services that make a real difference. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care across various departments including emergency medicine, medical-surgical units, intensive care units (ICUs), outpatient clinics, and post-acute care settings. Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate physiological responses to treatment plans. Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies following strict protocols and safety standards. Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Perform venipuncture and other invasive procedures with precision and professionalism. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Assist in emergency situations by providing immediate care in trauma centers or urgent care environments, utilizing your Level II trauma center experience when applicable. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge instructions to promote recovery and well-being. Skills Proven experience in Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers with a strong understanding of trauma protocols. Extensive background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or medical-surgical nursing. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems for accurate documentation. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and care planning. Skilled in IV insertion, venipuncture, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics (PICU), outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, and school health environments. Ability to respond swiftly in high-pressure situations such as emergency rooms or OR settings while maintaining composure. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.
