Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years
PSYCH RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a behavioral health setting, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in psychiatric nursing or as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in healthcare environments. This contract position offers a dynamic and supportive atmosphere where your clinical skills and empathy can make a significant difference in the lives of patients.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health preferred for RN candidates Proficiency with patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills Current BLS or CPR certification Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care, implementing individualized treatment plans Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor patients for behavioral or medical changes Administer medications and support therapeutic interventions in accordance with established protocols Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment plans, and health maintenance Accurately document care activities, patient responses, and relevant observations Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement Respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring patient safety at all times
