Qualifications:
Valid RN license, eligible to practice in Louisiana Minimum of two years recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care during surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control guidelines Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases Document and communicate patient information accurately Support and educate patients and their families regarding surgical processes
