A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

- We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Floor Nurse LPN - Weekend Option.

Essential Qualifications:
Evaluates the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents Reviews residents care plans, assures plans are followed and documents resident medical records. Supervises care provided by the Nursing Assistants assigned to the unit, providing intervention, education, and assignment adjustments. Prepares and administers medication and treatments. Consults with physicians. Receives and records orders as required.The Ideal Candidate:
- Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Registered Nurse (RN)-current/active
- CPR certification preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred
Other Qualifications:
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.

- All Offers of employment are subject to completion of a satisfactory background check, reference check, and eligibility for participation in Medicare and Medicaid program. Pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening examinations are also required
