Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and sterile processing when necessary. Manage complex cases including acute pain management, infectious disease care, geriatrics, and behavioral health conditions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings. Participate in clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives to advance evidence-based practices. Provide telehealth consultations utilizing telemedicine platforms to extend access to care for diverse populations. Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure with current certification from an accredited program; experience working within collaborative practice agreements preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems eCw familiarity with medical documentation standards including
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding is essential. Extensive clinical experience in primary care or specialized fields such as gastroenterology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, or critical care environments including ICU or Level I Trauma Centers. Proficiency in performing procedures like suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, spinal taps, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including CPT coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Ability to manage complex cases Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate care delivery; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments such as hospitals or outpatient clinics.
