• 7:00 am Mother/Baby Unit Department highlights: 12 bed Mother Baby and Maternal/Newborn Unit 9 bed

suites, 4 bed OB ED unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month Level

III NICU

Couplet care and Maternal Designation Level III Maternal Designation Certification rate over 50% Nursing Clinical Ladder participation rate over 50% Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN

• Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS
• Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required NRP
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire CPI
• Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req 1 year of Mother/Baby experience preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
